Compatible with smartphones and any Internet-connect device, the FeverSmart system connects with patients through the application of a disposable patch.
The patch has a small electronic device inside of it that is referred to as the "brain unit," while the "relay unit" sits close by in the same room. The brain unit monitors the patient's internal body temperature and transmits the data to the relay unit through Bluetooth technology. The FeverSmart system allows for the patient's temperature to be tracked in real-time on the smartphone device by a parent or healthcare provider.
