Toronto design studio Workshop Architecture Inc. created the Unfinished Home, which is a prefabricated house with an exposed structure. The interior is defined by the blue painted accents and it is located in Tiny. The house has two bedrooms and two bathrooms along with flexible areas that can host visitors. The interior space has an unfinished look due to the budget and the overarching effort to reduce materials to have "comfort, durability, and low energy use."
It is meant for two couples and a suite for the in-laws which can be accessed with a private entrance. Workshop Architecture Inc. speaks about the design project, stating "The house looks raw and unvarnished. The name Unfinished House refers to an aesthetic attitude, an approach to material reduction, and budget restraint that leaves parts of the design incomplete."
