The Sol Cinema gives the ultimate green cinematic experience for moviegoers. This micro movie house uses renewable energy as its sole source of power. Designer Jo Furlong was commissioned by the Undercurrents arts charity to make the theater.
The Sol Cinema consists of two recycled caravan berths fitted with solar panels to charge up the lithium-ion batteries. The movie house can accommodate 8 to 12 people and screens comedy, music videos and short films with eco-conscious themes.
