The Sky Village designed by Ziwei Song is a concept aimed at cleaning up the pollution problem in LA, while trying to connect the vast landscape into one cohesive whole.
There is a decent amount of land located around the main highways in the bustling city, so Ziwei Song proposed The Sky Village to make the most of this space while tackling some of the environmental issues of the area. The design would have certain plants to help suck out some of the pollution emitted from cars on the highway, which would then be transformed into oxygen.
The idea is extremely futuristic, with no other proposals like it so far. Perhaps The Sky Village will be the first of its kind in the area.
