The conceptual Dyson 'VENTILA' air purifier is a ventilation system designed for urban greenhouses that would work to keep pollutants at bay to help protect both farmers and plants alike. The prototype system works by drawing air in for ventilation, but harnesses the power of water vapor to capture fine dust particles that could also be drawn in to stop them from entering the space. The system was found to be effective at keeping 95% of fine dust particles out of the air for a healthier indoor growing environment for all.
The conceptual Dyson 'VENTILA' air purifier is the design work of DeokYoun Kim, John Park, and Fountain Studio, and identifies what could be done to help make urban farming healthier.
