The Skate Rising Youth Event Offers Free Skateboarding to Young Girls

The Skate Rising youth program will resume on March 12th to encourage young girls to skateboard. The free skateboarding initiative is designed for girls ages four to 18. On March 12th, skaters can gather at the Encinitas Community Park, 425 Santa Fe Drive, Encinitas, from 9 to 11 am.
After the event's first installment, Skate Rising will offer the program every second Saturday of the month at the same location. The program was paused due to COVID-19 and is now prepared to resume and encourage girls to follow their passions. The free classes provide young girls with the required equipment and skate coaches. In addition, the youth program will participate in a community service project geared around kindness and anti-bullying.
