The PHATPort is a great portable solar paneled port for parking your car. The idea is that the PHATPort will be able to produce energy to power your electric or hybrid vehicles when you're not using them. The solar 'deck' on top of the PHATPort allows for maximum sun exposure, which allows th panels to store energy.
The PHATPort is not entirely translucent so it allows for an area of cool shade as well. The PHATPort structure is extremely portable and takes "approximately 1/3 of the time it takes to construct equivalent structures." Sounds pretty rad to me!
