The Natural Speaker is Made Entirely Out of Porcelain and Wood
Michael Hines — May 19, 2011 — Art & Design
Korean designers Joon&Jung have created a speaker made entirely out of wood and porcelain. The aptly named Natural Speaker has a unique look and is designed to produce natural-sounding sound.
Music heard through conventional speakers and earphones sounds good, but the sound isn't natural. The Natural Speaker is designed to produce a slight echo with its sounds, which as the designers describe, makes it seem like you are sitting next to someone playing an acoustic instrument.
If you truly enjoy the sound of music and not just the lyrics or the thump of bass, then you should definitely check out the Natural Speaker. The video here gives you a behind-the-scenes look at the making of this speaker along with a demo of how music played from it sounds.
