The Megaro Hotel, a boutique-style travel destination at the famous Kings Cross Station, recently turned to Blue Sky Hospitality to completely transform the guest rooms into eccentric rockstar accommodations.
Each room was designed individually, with separate color schemes and furniture styles that are all inspired by the youth fashion nearby such as Scarlet Punk and Toffee Techno. The walls are textured, resembling raw concrete while the floors are laid with 3D carpet to look like burnt rubber on asphalt. The ceilings resemble Any Warhol's silver factory, covered with artist metallic splashes of paint. Finally, the sleek bathrooms have an industrial loft aesthetic with metal flooring and polished concrete.
