Vans Joined with The Meatball Shop in NYC for a Fresh Release

For the fourth time, The Meatball Shop joined with Vans for a co-branded skate shoe. Making use of the Sk8-Hi model that continues to be popular, the sneaker features a black and white colorway that's constructed by a checkered pattern that's well-loved by the skate brand.

Superimposing this are illustrations of humanized meatballs who are slurping up spaghetti noodles, which disappear into the checkered pattern. In addition to the illustrations, The Meatball Shop's mark appears on the heel of the skate shoes, with its statement serif typography helping it to pop out on the material.

Van's logo is shown beneath this on the heel of the sole in red, making the collaborative effort clear. Given The Meatball Shop's many stakes in New York City, it's likely that a number of its many consumers will pick up a pair to show their support.
