David Macullo Architects designs the Leaves, which is a tower crafted as an extension of the natural environment it is nestled in. The Leaves is essentially an organic structure inspired by nature, light, and the location. It blends into the surroundings and is comprised of two interlocking volumes.
The building also rotates to present the reflective surfaces that bounce off the Mediterranean light. The facade has a three dimensional built with geometric planters to allow for bright greenery to grow in its architecture. The use of the concrete panels, which have been prefabricated are shaded in five tones. This is done to imitate the natural palette of the surrounding landscape throughout all seasons of the year.
