shiura is the designer behind the Triaxial Numechron Clock which is a refreshing approach to DIY timekeeping with its special mechanical design. The timepiece is homemade and defined by its three wheels with 3D printed digits which are found along the different axes. The wheels would rotate and intersect with one another in order to create a mechanical movement.
The entire clock runs on the single stepper motor which keeps it straightforward despite how intricate it looks. The motor drives the system which coordinates all of the movements of the three wheels. The design brings attention to how impressive results can be achieved without the expensive elements of complicated electronics. All of the parts of the Triaxial Numechron Clock can fit in a 180 by 180 mm space.
