The Leaf House is the name of this eco-friendly home on wheels built by Laird Herbert. Herbert, of Whitehorse, Yukon, Canada, created the Leaf House to be both weather resistant and cozy. The Leaf House is certainly weather resistant if it's able to survive a winter in the Yukon, but is it cozy? The answer would appear to be yes.
Although the house looks small on the outside, it has a lot of space on the inside, and can sleep four people. The Leaf House has a full kitchen, a bathroom complete with compact bathtub, and a raised sleeping area and sofa bed. Herbert designed his tiny house to be as eco-friendly as possible, using recycled and natural materials during the building process. The house itself is filled with green appliances, including a composting toilet, Ecoheat electric baseboards and LED and halogen lighting. Herbert built this house for $39,038, and is selling it for $43,429. He also does custom orders.
