'Ghettoblaster', an installation that just came out in Zurich, is a total throwback to the late 80s and early 90s. Art director Bartek Elsner is responsible for this awesome old school piece. The installation was created for Mini Switzerland, and was seen at Zurich's 2012 International Radio Festival.
The installation was made entirely out of cardboard and looked just like a ghettoblaster you might see in Fresh Prince of Bel Air. Inside the giant Ghettoblaster was a small workable boombox that blasted sweet tunes the whole day long. The designer incorporated a Mini Switzerland car into the installation as well, by using it to power the small boombox.
This is a cool and creative promotional installation that is worth checking out, especially if you're a 90s kid.
