Linder Farms Corn Maze is the home of the annual The Farm Man Challenge, which just held its fourth race this year. As far as niche sporting events go, this particular obstacle course is in the running for taking top place by appealing to those who love working with the land as a living. Although it won't have people tilling soil, pulling crops and milking the cows, it does incorporate a dominating hay mountain and tall corn stalks that can easily confuse the runners.
The Farm Man Challenge fosters the "courage to overcome uncompromising obstacles, confidence to climb, jump, toss, crawl" and whatever else it might take to complete the obstacle course. A focus of many niche sporting events happens to be the location it takes place in and this one doesn't disappoint.
