Some people might get a tooth ache just looking at the Candy Bike, but for bonafide sugarholics, it is a creation sent from heaven. In reality, it was created by New York-based illustrator, motionographer and 3D designer Britta Hope, a senior at the School of Visual Arts.
Made out of actual sweets from the handlebars straight down to the tires, the Candy Bike was fashioned for a project in Hope's 3D design class. The students were given a Huffy bike to work with and charged with the mission to deliver a message with it. Hope writes, "I chose the message ‘treat yourself’ and created a bike that is made out of candy and delivers cupcakes out of a giant cupcake carrier on the back! Yum.” If only it really delivered cupcakes.
