Combining elements from such classic and upcoming movies as Independence Day, The Day the Earth Stood Still and Prometheus, the TETRIS Movie Trailer is a funny and stimulating mock teaser.
In response to Battleship, the film based on the navy warfare board game, Warialasky decided that Tetris would also make for a viable Hollywood movie pitch. From the minute and half video it appears that earth has come under attack by a force of invading block sculptures. The absurd nature of the idea is playfully exaggerated as the characters within the trailer demand answers, fight to stay alive and protect their loved ones.
If this truly were a teaser at an upcoming film I wouldn't be surprised if I found it in the straight to DVD bin.
