This cool stingray-inspired beach rescue vehicle is solar powered and remote controlled. The concept was designed by Davide Anzalone from Italy and one half of a two-part life-saving system called Teseo+Airianna.
‘Teseo’ is the water jet powered unit that fetches the struggling victim while ‘Airianna’ is a slick solar-powered tower which houses the remote controls for the rescue vehicle. Once the ‘stingray’ board reaches the intended target he grabs the handles and is whisked back to shore with the help of ‘driverless assistance.'
Imagine the relief of seeing this futuristic device gliding through the waves to save you.
