adidas is continuing to create sneakers out of ocean plastic and its newest design, the Terrex Two Parley Shoes, come from yet another collaboration with Parley for the Oceans. The lightweight and supportive footwear design was created to help with fast movements and offer comfort with every step thanks to its breathable mesh upper, cushioned midsole and grippy Continental Rubber outsole.
The shoes are made with recycled Parley Ocean Plastic, which is originally sourced by collecting waste from beaches and coastal communities before it has the chance to pollute waterways and threaten ocean life. According to Eric Liedtke, Executive Board Member for Global Brands Adidas Group, adidas' partnership with Parley for the Oceans is all about turning a "threat into a thread."
The adidas Terrex Two Parley Shoes are available in two colors: a black and grey colorway and an undyed white option.
