The Terraform furniture collection has been created by Britain-based designer Gavin Keightley as a series of pieces that are achieved using unexpected moulds crafted with unlikely materials.
The moulds used by the designer to achieve the offbeat pieces are made from a variety of food-based components including mashed potatoes, jelly, bread and couscous. This results in final products with an unlikely visual aesthetic that is inherently defined by a series of obscure accents, formations and colors.
The Terraform furniture collection was developed by Keightley as part of his master's project at the University of Plymouth. The collection was exhibited at the Decorex trade fair in London and is being featured at the Dutch Design Week 2019 in Eindhoven until October 27.
