The 'Technosensual: Where Fashion Meets Technology' exhibit features some very electronic-heavy ensembles. Instead of going down a 'TRON: Legacy' path simply for some cool looks, each creation serves a greater purpose. For instance, one dress uses sensors to change from opaque to transparent in order to increase intimacy between the wearer and the people surrounding her.
Curated by Dutch fashion designer Anouk Wipprecht, the Technosensual: Where Fashion Meets Technology exhibit is being held at quartier21 in Vienna. Although there is a lot of tech gear on the market, they are mainly geared towards the sports industry and athletes. According to quatier21, this show "combine[s] fashion and technology while expanding the possibilities of contemporary fashion design."
