Tânia Nicole presented her latest menswear collection at ModaLisboa's Sangue Novo event. The designer's Fall/Winter 2016 collection was inspired by optical illusions and celebrated the work of British artist Alex Chinneck. Featuring a mix of nostalgic denim pieces, this collection includes crafty tops that boast patchwork and fringed detailing along with patch-accented coats which are more refined in their aesthetic.
Some of this collection's other standouts include cotton sweatshirts that are accented with large pieces of discarded denim fabrics. Designed with sustainability in mind, Tania Nicole's jean-heavy collection for Fall/Winter 2016 will appeal to urban hipsters with an appreciation for creative and vintage apparel.
While its style direction is a definite nod to the 90s, this menswear collection is also forward-thinking thanks to its use of recycled denim materials.
