Chinese e-commerce company Alibaba has announced that it is currently testing Taibang, an all-new fashion and social shopping app targeted toward China's Gen-Z population. According to the company, the new app intends to offer a space for major designer brands to connect with young digital-savvy users. Additionally, the app provides a space for users to communicate with one another and share their fashion styles and attitudes.
With the slogan “created in China with attitude,” we can expect that the app will prioritize Chinese brands while championing personal expression amongst its users. As of right now, the Taibang app is available for download on Chinese app stores; however, it is only be tested by those who have been specifically invited by Alibaba.
