The Swimarium Allows You To Swim Alongside Virtual 3D Sharks

OVA Studio has produced plans for an audacious project dubbed Swimarium. This incredible design concept envisions a swimming pool with LED screens placed all around it to help create an immersive virtual swimming experience that would let you 'experience' swimming and diving anywhere in the world.
The sides, bottom and ceiling of the Swimarium would all be fitted with giant LED screens. The screens would be used to display panoramic content from dive sites around the world to give pool users the sensation of being there. Video displayed on the screens could be pre-recorded or transmitted live.
The experience could be made even more spectacular by incorporating 3D swimming goggles. These currently don't exist but if developed, they would certainly enhance the Swimarium experience by giving the feeling of being immersed underwater for real.
