Ontwerpduo's suspended bird cage 'Cageling' chair is like an oversized bird cage fit to seat a human. The striking chair retains a traditional bird cage shape, but is scaled up with the appropriate dimensions to fit the human form.
The thought of a chair modeled after any sort of cage could easily cause discomfort, but the Cageling chair manages to be light and airy, leaving its users feeling "free as a bird" rather than truly contained.
The suspended chair is made from colored steel, which is available in 48 colors and complimented by pillows of the same color.
