All Nippon Airways Will Use Surrogate Robots for Those Who Cant Travel

All Nippon Airways, a Japanese airline, has announced that it will use surrogate robots for individuals who are unable to travel. The airline stated that it will deploy 1,000 'Newme' robots as travel representatives. All Nippon Airways has indicated that it will work towards making its surrogate robots available by the summer of 2020.
The Newme robot is able to move at a maximum speed of 1.8 mph, and it has three-hour battery life. The robot also has a touchscreen display, which is 10.1 inches and has a resolution of 1080p.
The President and CEO of the airline, Shinya Katanozaka, spoke on the new surrogate robots, "By placing the world at your fingertips, Avatars will open up new possibilities and help reshape everything from business and education to healthcare and entertainment."
