Melbourne is already one of the coolest and trendiest cities in the world and one of the best places to be in if you're into sports and outdoor leisure, but the planned construction of a floating surf park is about to take Australia's biggest city to the next level. A concept vision of the park has been rolled out by Damian Rogers Architecture and engineering firm Arup.
Surfers at this floating surf park will be able to ride waves up to 1.5 meters high and 160 meters long, while smaller waves can be generated for less experienced surfers. The park will also feature facilities for swimming, kayaking and beach soccer, in addition to shopping and dining spots.
