It is photo series like the Strength of Saharawi Women that truly inspires me to travel the world to experience different cultures. Not only would that experience expand my perspectives in life, but it would also encourage creativity and imagination as well.
For now, however, I'm just thankful that Rome-based photographer Raffaele Petralla decided not only to visit the the Sahara desert, but to also put together the stunning Strength of Saharawi Women photo series. He lived as a guest in one of their refugee camps for two months and walked away with not only this photo project, but also a musical one. These stunning photographs are definitely a true representation of life in the Sahara desert, allowing viewers to get a glimpse into the daily lives of the area's inhabitants.
