Valve Corporation, the company behind the largest PC gaming platform 'Steam,' has released a new Steam update that discloses the exact size of a game prior to installing the game. Previously, the Steam store would show an estimation of a game's size in the 'System Requirements' section way at the bottom of the page. Then, users would only find out the true size of the game when they attempt to install it.
Now, right on the store page and on the game's associated page in a user's library, the exact storage size of a video game or software application is displayed down to the second decimal point of gigabytes. This means that Steam users will no longer attempt to install a game, find out that they don't have enough storage for it, and have to deal with a partially installed game while they find more storage.
