Here’s a question to seriously consider: what is scarier than a charging rhinoceros? A charging rhinoceros covered in titanium with a rocket launcher. That’s right, I said rocket launcher. From the artistic and expansive minds of Vladimir Gvozdev and Keith Thompson come these highly detailed renderings of steam powered creatures that come from a sub genre of art referred to as steam punk.
Gvozdev’s drawings are referred to as "Chaos Structures” which combine organic animal tissue with Industrial era technology. The detail in both artists’ steam powered creatures is absolutely magnificent. I’m going to see if I can go down to Petsmart and pick myself up a steam powered creature. They don’t seem like they’d make too much of a mess.
