The 'States of Dress' art project by artist Robin Barcus Slonina consists of dress sculptures from each of the 50 states in America.
Each frock is a representation of Slonina's views on each of the geographic locations within the US in their most natural and defining state. An interesting inspiration comes from New York as she dresses a model in dumpster truck garbage. Although it's a grimy idea, the dirt-ridden frock is quite aesthetically pleasing to the fashion-eye. Take a look through the gallery to check out the rest of the 'States of Dress' collection.
