John Lennon asked us to, "Imagine all the people living life in peace." Now his former band-mate Ringo Starr wants to make that a reality, even for a short moment in time.
Starr has taken to the web through his official YouTube channel and asked everyone to stop and ask for Peace and Love at noon on July 7th. It does not matter where you live, how old, what sex, religion or race you are. Simply take a moment for peace at noon.
According to Starr, "Perhaps for just one moment we can have the whole world thinking of Peace and Love!"
Even though it's only symbolic, I think its pretty cool. After all, the recent Earth Hour did not save the environment, but educated many about important social and environmental issues.
