Starlink, a satellite Internet constellation owned by Elon Musk's SpaceX, is getting a 'Premium' upgrade to provide users with high-speed Internet in remote locations where broadband usually isn't available. More specifically, the Premium subscription has been designed for "power users" who need high-speed connectivity 24/7.
Because of this, the new Premium Starlink service comes with a much larger antenna that is said to enable download speeds of 150-500 Mbps while allowing a latency of 20-40ms. In addition, according to the company, there will be no data caps for Premium users.
Lastly, the new installable satellites have been improved to be better suited for challenging weather conditions, and Premium users will now be provided 24-hour access to "high-priority" tech support.
