Starbucks Canada recently announced plans to resume operations in many stores across the country by the end of May and states that consumer safety is a top priority for the iconic brand. The brand implemented a new Gran-and-Go service that minimizes contact between staff and employees to reduce the risk of spreading germs.
Starbucks Canada is also implementing new safety measures in accordance with the recommendation of the Public Health Agency of Canada, provincial governments, and safety experts. Staff will be provided with personal protective equipment including gloves and facial masks and each barista will complete a check-in procedure (such as temperature checks and a questionnaire) at the beginning of each shift to ensure they are able to safely work.
