The Star Wars Nissan Juke Commercial Promotes Individuality
Michael Hines — September 4, 2013 — Autos
The Star Wars Nissan Juke commercial proves that Disney, like George Lucas, isn’t afraid to work with car companies. You’ll remember that Volkswagen and Lucas made magic with the “Little Vader” commercial that stole hearts across the world when it debuted during the Super Bowl a few years back. This time the Empire is working with Nissan and the undeniably fun Juke.
The Star Wars Nissan Juke commercial is shorter and gets to the point quicker than the aforementioned Volkswagen spot. It features the quirky crossover cruising through a crowd of Stormtroopers. The Stormtroopers are so impressed by the customizable car that they then customize their own suits. Simple, right? Now that Disney owns the rights to Star Wars it’ll be interesting to see what companies will feature the series’ characters in its commercials. Nissan may be the first, but it won’t be the last.
