Fans of classic sitcoms and 'Star Wars' are going to flip when they see the Star Wars Cheers mashup. This video was created by Rouge Squadron and is shot in the style of the Cheers intro. The video features iconic characters fro the sci-fi saga getting their drink on and looking a lot more relaxed than they ever did in any of the six films.
The Star Wars Cheers parody is filled with nerdy tidbits sure to excite hardcore Jedis. For starters, the video is set in the Mos Eisley cantina. The cantina is complete with imperial troopers, odd aliens and even Luke and Obi Wan. Boba Fett also makes an appearance as does Jabba the Hutt. Seeing all of these characters set to the theme song of Cheers is almost too awesome for words. Check out the video here to witness the geeky awesomeness for yourself.
