The Stadsmuziek by Akko Goldenbeld art installation is truly a unique one. Modeled after a traditional music box, this large-scale version is impressive for quite a few reasons. Namely, it's cylindrical surface boasts miniature 3D relief of the city of Eindhoven in The Netherlands.
More than that, the Stadsmuziek by Akko Goldenbeld, which means 'City Music' (appropriate considering the pattern it takes on) also uses a full-sized piano rather than a miniature harp to pluck out its tune.
Unfortunately, the Stadsmuziek by Akko Goldenbeld may not make beautiful music (as you will hear if you take the time to watch the video), but it is impressive in execution and imagination. Kudos to Akko Goldenbeld for such an intriguing installation.
