Halloween is just around the corner and Shiro-Hige’s Cream Puff Factory is celebrating with the launch of new Totoro and Spirited Away puddings.
Perfect for fans of the iconic Studio Ghibli films, both of the new puddings are a sweet, not-so-spooky take on Halloween iconography. The first of the new puddings is the Totoro’s Pumpkin Purin, which consists of a mug filled with purin (a Japanese-style custard pudding), and topped with a Totoro cream puff and Jack-o’-lantern cookie. On the other hand, the new Spirited Away-inspired Otori-sama’s Beni-imo Sweet Potato Purin features a purin and purple sweet potato base topped with a yellow bathing bird Otori-sama and a Jack-o’-lantern cookie. Best of all, you get to keep the mugs the puddings are served in.
