The Virgin group does it again with this clever animated ad starring Mel B. from the Spice girls. The ad is entertaining and does the job promoting Virgin's Movies on Demand launch. It's amusing and direct with more than a touch of Branson branding.
Mel B's character, dressed to kill in a skintight leopard outfit, consults with a German plastic surgeon for some help to get into Hollywood movies. The best bit is at the end where the doctor rips off his mask and reveals himself as Sir Richard Branson.
The commercial is the work of So! Animation US and written by Chris Hodgkiss and Pip Bishop (Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe/Y&R ad agency).
