The SoundRacer VX is a device that can make any regular old car sound like a tuned-up racing monster to its passengers. The SoundRacer VX comes with a companion mobile phone app that allows you to hook up a Bluetooth device to your car's engine management system and choose between five different sounds which will then play through the phone's speakers.
The VX is even fully capable of functioning as an FM music transmitting by virtue of its 3.5 mm audio input. It will also come with its own USB socket for charging devices.
The SoundRacer VX is currently the subject of a Kickstarter campaign. A pledge of around $66 will get you set up with a unit in May 2015, assuming the campaign hits its fundraising target.
