This robotic rover is designed to look like a Puli, a breed known for its mop-like fut. It pairs to its owner's smartphone via Bluetooth and reacts whenever associate social media accounts are interacted with. For example, a comment on Facebook could prompt a bark whereas a new like on an Instagram photo could cause the Soshee social media dog to wag its tail.
The Soshee social media dog was dreamed up by Jason Buzi, a real estate investor famous for launching the "Hidden Cash" social giving project back in 2015. The man who actually brought the dog to life is John Nolan, an animatronics designer famous for his work on the "Harry Potter" and "Pirates of the Caribbean" film franchises. Buzi has taken to Kickstarter to fund his creation, with a goal of $250,000. A pledge of $169 is enough to get your own Soshee, should the project be fully funded.
