American watchmaker Lüm-Tec has announced the launch of the Solar Marine dive watch, the centerpiece to its newly unveiled 2022 lineup. The sleek new timepiece features a 39mm 316L stainless steel case. In addition, customers will have the option to choose between two case finishes: a standard steel finish or a military-grade titanium carbide PVD option.
Powering the watch is Seiko's solar VS42A movement, which boasts an impressive six-month power reserve, which it is able to produce from just five hours of sunlight. In addition, the Solar Marine features an anti-shock mounting system, water-resistance of 300M/984ft, glow-in-the-dark luminous technology, and a 2mm thick sapphire with military-grade AR coating.
The watch is currently available from pre-order on Lüm-Tec's website, with shipments expected to launch this summer in either June or July.
