I am almost 100 percent positive that Americans would be more willing to ride their bike to work if that bike was the Sofa Bike. Designed by Jacek Holubowicz for the 2011 Berlin DMY Festival, the Sofa Bike is exactly what it sounds like; a bicycle that is shaped like a sofa.
This unique design means that the Sofa Bike both looks like and handles like no other bike out there. The bike can seat two and is pedaled much like a tandem bicycle. The steering of the bike is done with a crank located on the left seat. If the Sofa Bike wasn't already comfortable enough, it also features a canopy and a built-in stereo. I think I speak for all Americans when I say that I want the Sofa Bike, and I want it now.
