This application is the new Foursquare for cocktails! There are already applications for checking in and sharing your favorite places with friends, with the Elixr app you can do this and so much more. Elixer users can snap photos of what they are drinking, whether it be an amazing new drink they have just tried for the first time or something horrible.
I am surprised that this application has just recently being released. Drinking is, in many cases, a favorite pastime and a popular socializing activity. I can imagine that this app could be a lot of fun used within your circle of friends and is a great channel to promote safe drinking practices. With all of the new platforms of social media emerging on a daily basis, Elixr still manages to give users something that they haven’t seen and should take off in the coming months.
