The SnapCam is a wearable camera and video recorder, unveiled at CES 2015, that is something of a cross between the Narrative Clip 2 wearable lifelogging camera and the MeCam wearable video camera. This device can capture images and video like the Narrative Clip 2 and the MeCam, but can also capture HD video and stream video live to the Internet.
The SnapCam can be attached to a piece of clothing using its included clip, which can be rotated to keep the camera upright. The clip can also be attached to metallic objects.
The camera itself is powered on with a simple swipe motion and is claimed to boot up in 0.1 seconds. Users then simply have to tap the device once to take a photo, twice to record video and three times to live stream video.
