Interactive Teddy Bears

Fisher-Price unveiled its latest children's product called the 'Smart Toy Bear.' This snugly teddy bear looks like an average stuffed animal but is actually an interactive doll. The Smart Toy Bear will communicate with children through a downloadable app and can play games, using its accompanying smart cards.

This particular toy is ready to play right out of the box without an additional set-up process. However, parents are also able to download the toy's compatible app which will allow the adult to send notifications, track progress and send commands. The app also ensures each toy has a name and will recognize a child's name as well. The mobile platform can then allow children of all ages and their new toy to chat about food, stories and more.

Additionally, each bear comes with a set of educational cards that neatly fit inside their backpacks. Each card features games that teach young children about shapes and colors. This unique toy combines play with educational benefits that are important for a child's growth and development -- from speech recognition to listening skills.
