The first smart shower in the world is all about water conservation. Currently seeking finances on the crowdfunding platform Indiegogo, Eva quantifies your home's water consumption, resulting in savings of 50%. The system prides itself on saving water without compromising your experience of showering.
The smart shower device has a variety of features including shutting off water when it reaches the right temperature, conservation tracking, multi-alert time notifications encouraging you to take shorter showers, advanced sensors and water flow control. Controlled by Bluetooth, the device connects to a specialized smartphone application. The device can also connect to 90% of existing showers. It's installed in between the water inlet pipe and water valve (between the shower head and wall).
Eva is only in the early stages and consists of a working prototype.
