There are smartphones, smart watches, smart glasses and now there are smart motorcycle helmets. Skully Helmets is making the bad-ass biker community a little bit more geeky with its latest technology.
Its helmets give riders a heads-up display system with GPS navigation, a full 18-degree rear view camera, Bluetooth connectivity, and, of course, to avoid distracted drivers, it is all voice-controlled. It is also built in the likes of the adventurous; its face shield is anti-fog, anti-scratch, anti-glare and is ultimately designed for comfort and durability.
The company recently took home an award from the 2014 SXSW Interactive, in the Wearable Tech category. Imagine, people once didn't wear helmets, then it became the law, and now it's tech-savvy. The biker experience has been completely enhanced.
