At the 2019 Appliances & Electronics World Expo, Haier introduced a smart laundry room that uses its latest technologies for a convenient washing, air-drying and folding experience. The first-of-its-kind Internet of Clothing (IoC) networked laundry solution connects a smart washing machine, laundry rack and a folding machine for seamless cleaning.
The smart washing machine in the system boasts the ability to wash clothes after an analysis of material, water quality and the type of detergent used. From there, the smart machine, that's installed on the smart laundry rack, is able to tell when the clothes have been properly dried. At the perfect time, the smart laundry system sends a reminder to a user via the Haier U+ app to suggest the auto-folding function, which also allows different types of clothes to be analyzed and folded accordingly.
