On cold winter nights, you might like to shift your armchair up nice and close to the heater. The Slice Radiator Chair is quite aware of its comforting effect on a room and its occupants, cleverly offering a little seat so that you can feel the high temperatures of the metal against the shirt on your back.
Designer Burak Kocak rendered his hydronic concept with aluminum or brushed steel bars that measure 1 centimeter in depth and 3 centimeters in width. They draw up and loop around the back for a height of about 4 feet. In between each metal grate is a thin strip of wood, marble or frosted glass. The bottom portion of the wall-mounted Slice Radiator Chair slips in for a seamless, sleek look, or draws down as a level perch for pets and people alike.
